Deposit & Cancellation Policies
We value your time and want to ensure clarity when booking with us. To help you plan confidently, we’ve outlined the deposit requirements and cancellation policies for each type of reservation.
Please review the details carefully before confirming your booking, as policies vary depending on whether you reserve a cabin, suite, studio, houseboat, or daily boat rental.
Cabin, Suite, and Studio Reservations
- Deposit: A $200.00 deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your accommodations. This deposit will be applied to your total rental amount upon arrival.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- If you cancel outside of the 48-hour window, you will forfeit your $200.00 deposit.
- If you cancel within 48 hours of your reservation, you will be responsible for the entire rental amount.
Houseboat Reservations
- Deposit: A $500.00 deposit is required at the time of booking.
- Payment & Refund: The entire rental fee will be charged upon arrival. Upon return, your $500.00 deposit will be refunded, minus the cost of the fuel required to refill the houseboat.
- Cancellation Policy: We require a 45-day notice for houseboat cancellations.
- If you cancel 45 days or more in advance, you will receive a 75% refund of your deposit.
- If you cancel within the 45-day window, you will forfeit the $500.00 deposit.
Daily Boat Rentals
- Payment: Boat rental fees must be paid in full when making the reservation.
- Gas Deposit: A $100.00 gas deposit is required at pickup. Upon return, the boat will be refueled; you will be refunded the remainder of the $100.00 deposit, or charged for any fuel costs exceeding $100.00.
- Cancellation Policy: * If you cancel with at least a 48-hour notice, you will receive a 75% refund of your rental payment.
- If you cancel within 48 hours, you will forfeit the full rental payment.
Weather Policy
- Rain: We do allow boats on the lake during rain; cancellations due to rain are non-refundable.
- Storms: If a severe storm occurs and we cancel the rental, you will be permitted to go out once the storm passes, or reschedule your rental for a later date within the current calendar year.
